Air handling units installed in areas with potentially explosive atmospheres have to comply with ATEX directive 2014/34/EU. Maximum safety – thanks to TROX air handling units for potentially explosive atmospheres:

The latest version of the X-CUBE control scores particularly well in the time factor. It starts with the simple and standardised M12 connection between the modules, continues with the intelligent and easily accessible control cabinet architecture and ends with the smart and intuitively operated control panel. And cloud-based control of the components is also possible via a web connection.

Instead of complex star-shaped wiring, the modules are now connected via the integrated plug-in BUS wiring including 24 V power supply for the components. This means real Plug&Play according to industrial standards and an enormous reduction of commissioning times.

    The linear ceiling diffusers with one or two-sided discharge are especially suitable for air supply through ceilings.

    They distribute the air along the ceiling and can be used in very low rooms.

    The linear ceiling diffusers feature excellent induction. Mixing of the air jets with the room air and thus the heat exchange begin in the immediate neighbourhood of the diffuser. Therefore, warmer and particularly colder air can be supplied without draft effects.

TROX Type ‘JFD’ Damper multi-leaf Marine Fire and Gas Damper is designed for marine and offshore applications.
The damper is certified by Lloyd’s Register and ABS for the compliance with IMO Fire Test Procedures Code, Annex 1; Part 3.
The damper is also certified by Lloyd’s Register for compliance with the essential Fire protection requirements of the EU Marine Equipment Directive (MED) 96/98/EC.
The damper is certified for horizontal or vertical mounting in ‘A-0’ divisions, and ‘A-15’, ‘A-30’ and ‘A-60’ divisions when suitably insulated.
The damper is also certified for use in Zone 1 and 2 hazardous areas and complies with EU Directive 94/9/EG (ATEX 95), Appendix 1 and is classified under equipment group II, category 2G. In accordance with EU Directive 99/92/EC (ATEX 137), the damper can be used in potentially explosive environment where gas Groups IIA, IIB and IIC, and flammable materials at temperature classes T1 to T6 are present.
The maximum recommended operating pressure for this damper is 3000 Pa.

ORION X-SENSE

APPLICATION: Orion X-sense is a sensor box where both motion detection PIR and temperature measurement are in one and the same unit. X-sense is permanently mounted in the center of the Orion Leaf valve front. Because the room sensors are integrated in the ceiling valve, unnecessary wiring down the wall can be avoided, i.e. all connections can be made above the ceiling. Orion X-sense is adapted to Orion-Løv valve fronts and to the X-AIRCONTROL automatic system. Orion X-sense provides accurate measurements with a supply air temperature of 14-26°C.

Long throw linear nozzles, specifically designed for areas where the air flow is excessive for a linear diffuser, with high throw and where high induction capacity is required.

The DUL nozzles can be positioned at an angle of 30°, which allows to adapt the vein orientation to any situation.

The connection plenums can be defined with different connection sockets in diameter and quantity to suit the acoustic and pressure drop requirements of the installation.

Connections:

  • Standard 200 mm connection socket, one per plenum.
  • Optional 150, 220 and 250 mm sockets.

    The PURELINE slot diffusers are neat devices that blend in perfectly with any ceiling.

    Versatile
    Adjustable air discharge – horizontal, angled or even vertical – makes the diffusers a versatile option for many applications, such as to provide an air curtain to protect fresh food counters.

    Clean
    As a big plus, there is less contamination of the ceiling with the PURELINE slot diffusers. This has been tested on a dedicated test rig of RWTH Aachen University, where a standard dust (ASHRAE) was used to compare the contamination caused by different types of diffusers. PURELINE came out as the cleanest slot diffuser by far.
